Membership

Founded in 1865, the Tanglin Club is Singapore’s leading private members’ club with members from more than 70 countries. The Club offers a diverse range of social and sporting amenities in the exclusive Claymore district, along with reciprocal partnerships with over 130 of the world’s greatest private members’ clubs.

 

Prospective Members applying for Ordinary or Term Membership must be proposed and seconded by two active Ordinary Members of the Club with a minimum of three years' Membership.

 

The Term Membership is applicable for a period of one (1) year and is renewable annually and up to a maximum period of five (5) years. Upon the expiry of the 5-year period or at any time during the 5-year period, the Member may apply to convert to Ordinary Membership upon satisfying the stipulated conditions. A Term Member shall be entitled to apply half (50 percent) of the aggregate Term Membership entrance fees paid towards the Ordinary Membership entrance fees in the year the conversion takes place.
